Get your name on the hiking wall of fame! Participate on pack or den organized hikes and earn hiking miles. Make sure your den leader enters your name on the pack hiking log for the hikes you attend.
#PixInParks 2021 Challenge
Now is your chance to earn hiking miles by participating in Santa Clara County Parks' #PixInParks Challenge! Participation in the challenge is optional. To document completion of a hike, please: (1) take a screenshot of the GPS track hiked using any GPS enabled mapping app, (2) snap photo evidence of your scout and family at the specified destination point for the hike, (3) post them on the Pack 165 Facebook page or email them to the Cubmaster. Completion of all #PixInParks hikes will earn scouts 21.54 miles! Have fun!
BSA Presidio Historic Trail Adventure Hike
Explore historic and scenic points of interest around the Presidio of San Francisco. This is a modification of the BSA Presidio Historic Trail route from a point-to-point route to a six mile loop. Park and start the adventure at the Moraga Ave Parking Lot (there is a fee to park in this lot). To document completion of this adventure, please: (1) take a screenshot of the GPS track hiked using any GPS enabled mapping app, (2) capture photo evidence at 12 different checkpoints specified in the map, and (3) post them on the Pack 165 Facebook page or email them to the Cubmaster.
